War Between States Records, which came in the mail today, indicated that
Alexander Young was born in Abbeville Co. SC 1823.  He enlisted in Ms.  His
father was also named Alexander Young.  He was born in 1794 in SC, and he
married a Malinda.   Can anyone help me with this line of Youngs?  I know Alex
Sr, and his wife moved to Lauderdale County,  Alabama (circa late 1820's), as
some of the children were born there, then they were in Ms in 1830's.  The
records also
indicated he was 6 feet tall, and had dark hair and eyes.  Thanks for
