 Susan Hoke writes that her family isn't positive that Thomas is Joseph
 Harrington's father. Does anyone have a source for this info.
 
 Joseph was a farmer and blacksmith.  He and his wife Ann Brown appear to
 have moved to Autauga County, Alabama.  He is in the 1860 Alabama census.

 Joseph served in CSA from Alabama, in the First Cavalry Unit.  (This is
 questioned by some.)
 Joseph and part of his family apparently returned to N. Car and settled in
 Anson County.  No will has been found
