Doug,
You mentioned <<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>
Would you have any connection to the SIMS, McCOMBS and/or GREER families in
the same area.

I am looking for more info on the family of Thomas Sims (b 5 Jan 1769, d 1
Jan 1854, buried: former Sims farm, Honea Path, SC) who married, 7 Jan 1789,
Elizabeth Smith (b 18 Oct 1768, d ?). Thomas' father was Jonn Sims, mother
Anna [Rice? or Graves?]. Thomas was the father of Sarah who married, 2 Jan
1821, Abbeville, SC, David McCombs and moved to Jefferson Co., AL just after
1820. Sarah's sister Mary was the third wife of David Greer.

Thanks,
Melba
