I am looking for the parents of two WORD girls, possibly sisters: 
Jane WORD, b ca 1806 and Elizabeth WORD b ca 1808.  They married in 
the late 1820s father Edward Neddie DODD (2nd wife) and son John 
Sample DODD. Leaving the DODD homestead in Union Co., SC, Elizabeth 
and John moved to Fayette Co., GA, by 1828 and Jane and Neddie 
followed soon after, settling in Campbell Co.  These two WORD women 
produced many DODD offspring.

There seems to be great confusion about the ancestry of these 
WORD/DODD women.  Any information, especially with documentation, 
would be appreciated.
