South Carolina.
  In the name of God, Amen.  I William Westberry of the Parish of St 
Bartholomew in Colleton County of the Province aforesaid, Planter, being 
very Sick and Weak of Body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God 
for the same, but calling to mind the mortallity of my body and knowing 
that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my 
Last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following, that is to say, 
Principally and first of all, I recommend my soul into the hands of God 
that Gave it and my Body to the earth to be buried in a Decent and 
Christian like manner at the discretion of my Exors hereinafter named, 
nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection_________receive the same 
the Almighty Power of God and as ___concerning such Wordly Goods wherewith 
it hath pleased God to bless me in this Life, I give, Demise and Bequeath 
_________in manner and form following IMPRIMIS;
It is my will and desire in that my ______Mother Mary____ her Residence and 
______of my house and _____during the course of her Natural Life.
Item- It is my desire that all my just debts and funeral charges be first 
paid before any Division be made of my Interests.
My Will and Desire is that after the Decease of my Mother Mary Early that 
all my lands be Equally Divided between my three sons, William, Joshua and 
John to them, their heirs and assigns forever.
Item- My Will and Desire is that all my Personal Estate of what kind or 
Quality whatever,  be Equally Divided between my Loving Wife Jane and my 
seven Children Viz; William, Joshua, John, Sarah, Mary, Martha and 
Elizabeth, to be possessed and injoyed by them,  their heirs and assigns 
forever.
Lastly, I Nominate and appoint my trusty friends, William Sanders and James 
Andrew to be Exors of this my Last will and Testament, In witness whereof I 
have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 31st day of October 1750.
