I am looking for information on the LACY/LACEY family in the Williamsburg
County, SC census 1800-1810.

 1.WILLIAM LACY  (b. unknown/d. unknown)
     + (spouse-unknown)

 Children of WILLIAM LACY are:
       i. ELIZABETH LACEY, b. 1797; m. JAMES GORDON
      ii. JAMES LACEY, b. 6-3-1800, SC; m. RUTH HICKS; d. 1-23-
          1882 Wilcox County, GA
     iii. JONATHAN LACEY, b. 1803, SC; m. Susieannah ????
     iv. WILLIAM LACEY, b. 1804, SC; m. SUSANNAH MCCLAM

WILLIAM LACY is in 1810 census with 3 sons less than 10 years of age and a
daughter 10-16 years of age. These children should be JAMES, JONATHAN,
WILLIAM, and ELIZABETH.

JAMES LACEY is in 1830 census with 1 male under 5 years of age, 1 female
under 5 years of age, 2 females 5-10 years of age, and 1 female 30-40 years
of age. These should be JAMES' children: JOHN M., SPININNAH, SARAH ANN, and
MARY ELIZABETH; and his wife RUTH HICKS LACEY.

JONATHAN is in 1840 census with 1 female less than 5 years of age and 1
female 20-30-years of age. These should be his daughter, MARY ELIZABETH, and
his wife, SUSIEANNAH.

JAMES LACEY, his wife RUTH HICKS LACEY, and their seven children migrated
From SC to Pulaski/Wilcox County, GA 1840-1842.

JONATHAN LACEY also migrated to Pulaski County, GA (possibly at a later time
than JAMES' family) with his family but they returned to SC in 1850.

ELIZABETH LACEY married JAMES GORDON. After JAMES GORDON's death, she also
migrated to Pulaski/Wilcox County, GA.

There is also a JOHN GORDON in the Williamsburg County, SC census. We are
trying to determine if this JOHN GORDON is related to the JAMES GORDON who
married ELIZABETH LACEY.

WILLIAM LACEY (II or Jr.) married SUSANNAH MCCLAM. They did not migrate to
GA, possibly remaining in Williamsburg County or a nearby county.
