Subject: RE: William Green Va-NC-SC-GA From: Betty Polombo Date: November 20, 2000 William Green was a charter member of the 2nd charter of VA 1609...came to VA 1612, according to"History of Jones Co Ga 1807-1907" by Carolyn White Williams. Does anyone have further information about him such as who he married, their childrens' names, where his children lived after marrying? Edward,1707-1780, of Culpepper and Brunswick, Va, a lineal descendant of William Green, married Elizabeth (Betty) Powell 1709*1737. Edward appears to have had a son, John Calhoun Green, Col in War of 1812. Can anyone confirm or dispute this information? I appreciate any information you are willing to share.
