William Basden 1778 - Deborah Byrd

I am researching the Baisden/Basden family.  I have found a reference in
Bermuda to a William Basden who died in South Carolina about 1778.  He left
heirs and land in Warwick tribe Bermuda.  He is related to John Basden of
Bermuda.  Does anyone have information on William and his family?
