Do you know if your AMBROSE WHITTLE is in anyway connected to JOHN WHITTLE Sr
b approx 1801 m Elizabeth Brown in Batesburg?

We talked a few weeks ago at the SC Archives and discussed our family lines,
but I was not researching WHITTLE then.  My sister-in-law, Cindy PROTHMAN, has
asked me to see what I could find on her family and her great-grandfather's,
Floyd Wesley Whittle, death cert. says his father was John Sr.  I've only had
the chance to look at the 1870 census for Edgefield Co and at that time, Floyd
was living with a  Hepsey Whittle.
