Subject: What happened in 1889? From: Kinseeker4 Date: July 24, 1999 I have just been transcribing some old Bible records, and noticed an inordinate number of deaths occurring in the year 1889 in Kershaw County. Was there some sort of epidemic there that year? Was it statewide, and what was it? Thanks.
