I'm not sure I know what we are talking about.  I don't know to what "box" you
are referring.  You asked before where you could find other extracts from
Ramsay's History of SC.  I answered that, other than the SCRoots archives,
some extracts have been placed on the SCRoots web sites at
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ridge/9980/stories.html,
http://members.tripod.com/~SCROOTS/history.html, etc.

If I understand this last message correctly, you are asking where to find the
SCRoots archives?  The SCRoots web site has links to the SCRoots email
archives at Liszt.com.  These are http://www.liszt.com/read/SCRoots-L and
http://www.liszt.com/read/SCRoots-D.  The Rootsweb site also maintains
searchable archives of the messages at
https://mailinglists.rootsweb.com/listindexes/ at Rootsweb.  But they
aren't threaded web pages, yet.

The SCRoots forums I've setup at Onelist.com will also have searchable
archives.  But, I haven't done much yet with the Onelist forums and there
hasn't been any mail worth searching in them yet.  I view them as
"alternative" and "backup" systems right now for things that we can't do in
SCRoots at Rootsweb (off-topic chatting, sending html coded messages, sending
attachments, etc.).

Perhaps you're under the impression that I've been transcribing all of
Ramsay's History from page one to the pages seen recently.  I haven't.  I've
only transcribed and posted limited extracts of various parts dealing with
topics that have been asked about in SCRoots.  So far these have primarily
dealt with The Attack on Fort Sullivan, The Settlement of the BackCountry,
Contests with Indians, and selected other topics.  There are many more topics
covered by Ramsay.  I may eventually do more.  But, it takes time and I can't
do it all at once.
