I'm posting these responses to the forum in case others have had similar
problems.

The database password is "SCRoots" (case-sensitive).  Some users may not have
noticed, but it is shown on the SCRoots web site and has been in the forum
taglines for some time.

The Tripod URL as shown above works fine for me.  I'm guessing that you may be
using the funky, clunky, built-in AOL browser.  If the Tripod URL isn't
working for you, the problem is with your browser, not the URL.  Try adding a
"/" at the end of it.  If that doesn't help, then try adding "/index.html" at
the end.

The Geocities URL quoted above is not how the URL was given in the message I
sent.  If it showed up at your end that way, then there must be a problem and
either your email service and/or email reader.  They must be stripping some of
the characters from the text.  The correct URL, as sent in the message, is 
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ridge/9980  

The only difference is that there is a 0 (zero) at the end which is missing in
the version you quoted.  Again, there is nothing wrong with the URL as shown. 
If it doesn't work for you, then your Browser is the problem.  Try adding the
"/" or "/index.html" at the end.

Or, you could install and use the Netscape browser. It has no trouble with the
URLs as given and, in my opinion, is a far superior browser.

In the SCRoots Pluto Chat Room login window you should see the following
statement.

"If you do not have a registered handle, you may sign up here (it's totally
free)."

The words "sign up here" should appear as a clickable hot link which will take
you to the signup form.  You have to signup with the chat site to get a handle
and use the chat room.  If you don't see these words or the clickable link,
then there is a problem with your browser.
