I have been researching my wife's family for years and against a brick wall.
Her ggg grandfather went by the name of Laudy or Laughy. This could be a
nickname and may be my holdup on getting any information on him. He had two
known son's named BARTLETT and REDMONT. Laudy was born in NC sometime
before1784. Have reason to believe he migrated to Georgia and his son's to
Alabama.
I feel now probably none of you have Laudy listed, but maybe you have some
information on his son's and this could lead me to his real name. Any help
will be appreciated.
