Thanks, for your input.  Even though sources cannot be validated at times,
Ancestral File records from LDS have made connections for me That I would
never have found perhaps in a lifetime of research. It depends on which
organization you are dealing with.  The Columbia Chapter of the S. C.
Genealogical Society accepted my membership for Founding Families of the
State of South Carolina. My sources included some LDS records, "The Manning
Papers",  and several other sources which have been known to have incorrect
data.  In genealogy research, sometimes just probable assumptions have to be
used.  Pure genealogy research is almost an utopia.
