Subject: Translation needed From: Nancy Maydole Date: May 05, 1999 I asked a Latinist friend to translate "mutare sperno." Her interpretation is: "I refuse to change." Because "sperno" doesn't usually take an infinitive except in poetry in the classical period, she says it is probably a late latin motto, not based on any classical text. Hope this helps.
