Edward: I will go back and check my Cantey info. Most of what I have comes
From Ames who did make some mistakes and Burgess who married into William's
side which is ours. I have the book, Seige Train. I have made copies of my
handbook before. There are not too many names in it. I do remember the
writer referring to a Cpt. Shultz and one other. I will look this up
tonight and write again. I would be glad to make one more good copy for the
Society and one for you. It would take me awhile though because I really
need to handle it as little as possible. Caledonia Plantation burned after
Emily married Charles Shannon and moved to Camden. What I have of the
Nesbits is basically it. There is a letter referring to Ralph's military
service to Emily hanging in the club house at Caledonia Golf Club at
Pawley's! I would be honored to serve the General's nephew! Darlene
