Gee, I am going to be 'gauche', but I am interested in information on some
of Mr. Strom Thurmond's offspring in and around Edgefield.  I saw an
interesting article about this in the Washington Post a number of years ago
(about 1992), written by a Post writer from South Carolina who grew up
