Subject: Thompson/Thomson family of the PeeDee River SC From: Deborah Byrd Date: October 06, 1998 Looking for information on the Thomson family in SC that settled in the PeeDee region. Have found a reference to the will of James Thomson written propbably around 1796. John Mikell and Daniell Bonnell were the executors of the estate. Thomsons are collateral lines to two of my families, Lucas and Mikell/Michael. Would like to untangle the knots as to who belongs to whom and where the familes originated. Believe that the Micheals, John McIntosh and Thomson families all came to the PeeDee area from the same county in VA, possibly Northampton..
