Subject: Thomas ELLIOTT From: RW Hughes Date: August 09, 2000 I have just received some new information in my continuing search for my ELLIOTT ancestors in SC. It now appears that a maternal line 5xgreat grandfather was named Thomas ELLIOTT and was of the area of Twelve Mile Creek in Camden District. I have no idea as to when he might have been born, but know now that he died about 29 Nov 1781. In his will, he mentions his wife, Jean, a son named James, and two daughters; Mary and Jane. At the time of his death, his wife was pregnant. The child, William Thomas ELLIOTT, was born probably early in 1782, following the death of his father. If anyone has additional information on this family, I would really like to hear from you.
