Subject: The "Richmond" in 1680 From: godseys Date: January 21, 2001 Some GODSEY researchers have two boys, THOMAS and JAMES GODFREY, arriving in the Carolinas on the frigate "Richmond" in 1680. In checking sources, I find no mention of them (or a sponsoring AMONETTE) in the paper "Foreign Protestants For Carolina in 1679" in Volume X of "The Proceedings of the Huguenot Society of London" (FHL Film #0990357). This paper has two lists of about 40 'families' and about 170 men, women, and children. The lists are constructed in such a way that the people of interest to me could have been included in a 'family'.
