Hmmm... I've never used an iMac so I can't help you with the problem.  The 
http://www.scroots.org/places.html web page is a pretty basic HTML 
page.  Not too big.  Not a lot of graphics.  Simple background graphic.  No 
java scripts.  Don't know what the problem might be.  I can email you a 
copy of the page, if that might help.

I put a lot of the same material on a page I created for work a while 
back.  You might want to try this page.
