Hello,

Perhaps someone can help me clear up some questions I have about Eden
Byrd and his wife Ann. I have seen several people refer to her as Ann
Lee. Who was her first husband? In Ann (McCallister) SPRINGS will
dated 10 Feb 1807(Williamsburg Co., SC) she leaves "property to be
under the care of John Rogers of Campbranch for maintaining Cornelius
{Ann (McCallister) SPRINGS son} and assisting my daughter Ann Byrd and
never to be wise at the disposal of my son-in-law Eden Byrd." She also
leaves one cow and calf to granddaughter Orpha Byrd.

In Robert SPRINGS will dated 13 May 1821 (Williamsburg Co., SC) he
leaves to his daughter Ann Byrd $1.00.

So from these wills, I'm assuming that Ann Lee was really Ann
(Springs) Lee Byrd? Any information to help clear this up is
appreciated.

I'm also interested in any information on the McCallister family, too.
