Died, July 23d, 1874 at his residence on Broad Creek, Rockbridge County,
Va., Mr. James Miller, aged 87 years, 2 months and 26 days. For more than
fifty years he was a pious and consistent member of the A. R. Presbyterian
church; and for the last twenty five years a ruling elder.
