I don't have them on line yet, but once I have the will project all on
line, I will be posting a list of old Sumter District obits on the
SCGenWeb homepage. The names and dates will be listed.

I am currently working on Volume II of newspaper transcriptions from the
Sumter County Archives. I have about 59 pages done. I plan to get to
about 100 pages and then have the book printed.

I have very, very few copies of Volume I left. If anyone is interested
in it, you may visit

which papers the information came from.

Volume II and probably Volume II will contain information from only
Sumter newspapers. Volume I is a mixture of newspapers from various
towns, mostly S.C.
