I have ancestors I've looked for at least 15 years that seems to be that "brick wall"  Poindexter Stuckey (g grandfather) b. 1813 in SC., and brother Matthew b. in either 1810 or 1817. This is from family Bible and checks out when he is found in 1850 & 1860 in AL.  G grandmother is Sarah Ann Bailey b. SC Nov 29, 1829, and children are Sara Katherine, James Lewis (grandfather) and Jonathan Collins.  
                                                                                                                               Sarah Ann died and he married Martha Jane Dennis in 1867, and had children Poindexter Franklin, Oliver Perry, Matthew Bell, and Martha Elizabeth.  They moved to TX between 1872 and 1875.

There are a lot of Stuckeys, but seems to be no way to tie them together other than Matthew & Poindexter, and no one knows their parents. 

Does anyone have a clue in this group?
