Hi!
You asked about Fishdam Cemetery. Wow! How about that! My husband has umpteen
ancestors buried there, including his parents.
We have been trying to find descendants of the families represented in order to
form an association!
Anyway, from Union, SC you take County Rd. 215 south until it intersects with SR
121 & 72 (which lead to Chester, SC), at which time you turn right (east) about
3 miles. The last turn-off on the right before the Broad River leads you up a
sloping hill. The cemetery is a bit off the road on the left and is surrounded
by a mostly-intact chain link fence. (The church has long since burned down.)
>From I 26 you would exit at Whitmire and take #72 to the east.

Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of the cemetery book on Fishdam. The only
mention of the Stewarts to whom you are probably connected was a mention in the
Union County Heritage regarding some Stewart lands near Cross Key--but it did
not have anything about dates or specific people.
Hope this helps!
Ronnie
