Would someone enlighten me to where Fishdam is/was or close to?  Leonard
Stewart/d my ggggfather had a farm in Union County SC and as I remember
there was something on the census film (and my notes) about Fishdam ?  Col.
Gideon Steen and his family lived close to my ggggrandfather,  one of his
daughters married  (Margaret Steen) my gggrandfather William G. Steward/t
in 1850's.  William and Margaret Steward then migrated to Ala. Margaret and
children migrated into Texas around 1880's to 1890's without William
Steward. The best I can assume is William died in Ala.  If anyone has any
information on Fishdam or the Steward/t's it would be appreciated very much
.
