This time, I am Writing to ask about the Steeles in your message. One of my
ancestors, James F. Thomas was m. to Elizabeth Steele (b. 1800) whose father
was John Steele who d. 1820 in Darlington Co., S.C.

John's wife  may have been Sarah and they had about six children all told,
Catherine, James, John, Mary, Sarah, and Elizabeth, believed to be the
youngest.

I have had no success finding anything about this line of Steeles. Any
chance they are related to yours?
