Declaration for Widow's Pension,

State of Georgia, County of Fulton,
    On this 5 day of July 1922 Personally appeared Louisa T. Richmond,
before me the underseigned, who makes the following declarationas an
application for pension under the provision of the act of Congress
approved May 1, 1920.
    That she is 66 years of age, that she was born October 27th 1855 at
Spartanburg S.C., and that her post-office address is 21 Boulevard Place

Atlanta Georgia.
    That she is the Widow of Benj. F. Richmond, who ENLISTED Feby 15,
1865, at (blank) under the name of Benjamin F. Richmond, in Co. B. 188th

Regiment Ohio Infantry, and was honorably DISCHARGED Sept 21st, 1865,
having served ninety days or more, or was discharged for, or died in
service of the United States of a disability incurred in the service in
theline of duty, during the CIVIL WAR, and who DIED June 17th 1922, at
Atlanta Georgia.
    That he also served in (Blank), and that, except as herein stated,
said soldier (or sailor) was not employed in the military or naval
service of the United States; THAT SHE WAS MARRIED to said soldier (or
sailor) March 18th 1873, at Spartanburg, SC, by Rev. Avant.  That she
had not been previously married, that he had (blank) been previously
married; That she was NOT divorced from the soldier (or sailor) and that

she has NOT remarried since hid death; That the following are the ONLY
children OF THE SOLDIER (or sailor) who are now living and are under
sixteen years of age;

No children left under 16 years of age.

    That she as Not heretofore applied for pension, the number fo the
former claim being (line drawn); that said soldier (or sailor) was
(blank) a pensioner, the number of his pension certificate being 1130577

    Subscribed and sworn to before me this 5th day of July 1922, and I
hereby certify that the contents of the above declaration were fully
made known and explained to the applicant before swearing, including the

words (line drawn) erased, and the words (line drawn) added; and that I
have no interest, direct or indirect in theprosecution of this claim.

Re: Widow Division

    Personally appeared befroe me Louisa T. Richmond, who being first
duly sworn, deposes and says:
    Affiant will be sixty-seven years old October 27th of this year and
lives at No. 21 Boulevard Place, Atlanta Georgia.
    Affiant is the widow of Bejamin F. Richmond, Co. G. 188th Ohio Inf.
Affiant before her marriage was Miss Louisa T. Moore.  Affiant and
Benjamin F. Richmond were married March 18th, 1873 in the City of
Spartanburg, South Carolina, by Rev. Avant, a Methodist Minister.  The
only persons present at the ceremony were William Corey, now deceased,
Frank Zeigler, address unkown, and Elizabeth Avant, who has since
married, but both married name and address unkown.  So far as affiant
can learn, Rev. Avant is also dead.  Affiant is unable to locate any
persons who were present at the time of her marriage
