Hello listers...

I might be guessing here, but I believe the state of GA, SC had several
border changes over the centuries. But I wonder if at any point in
history, did the border of
VA touch GA, and SC??

Here is my problem... Many of the MOORE surnames I have resided in the
Old Pendalton District of South Carolina... But I've found a few names
in GA, and some in VA. I am trying to track the descendants of Joseph
and Catherine Moore, (Co Antrim Ireland) and Josephs brother Charles
Moore. They are supposed to have moved from VA to SC...(From there many
moved to Giles Co Tn...) I have only direct descendancy to Hugh MOORE &
Sarah FRENCH. Then 1 or to of their children. It's convoluted but I
aslo have the CHAPMAN surname listed as doing the same... As several
of the MOORE's married into the CHAPMAN line... Any one able to help...

Love and Kindness
Wendy
