Is there anyone out there that can lead me to the ancestry of Stanwick
Hays who married Catherine Counts, as well as her ancestry.  I know that
they came to Blount County, Alabama, from somewhere around Charleston, SC,
about 1820.  Their three oldest sons, John Bayless Hays (about age 10 at the
time of the move), Hanse (b. about 1815) and James W. "Dick" (b. about 1818)
were with them on the trip.  My gg'father, Joseph Warren Waldo Hays was born
about 1821 - soon after they arrived in Alabama.  Any help would be
