Subject: St. David's Academy (Society Hill, Darlington SC) c1800 From: Brett F. Woods Date: February 13, 2000 I'm looking for information on St. David's Academy (c1800) which, as I understand it, was located in the Society Hill area of Darlington County SC. I am generally interested in its purpose, the composition of its students and, in particular, any material available on Rev. Frame Woods (Baptist minister) who seems to have been an Academy teacher and reportedly its principal from 1800 to 1804. Thanks for any assistance or for pointing out any errors in my information.
