(Darlingtoniana: A History of Darlington County, Eliza C. Ervin and Horace F. Rudisill, eds.) The only reference in the book Darlingtoniana to Rev. Frame Woods is a foot note : Col. Joseph Woods (1771-1845), son of the Baptist minister, Rev. Frame Woods, was once District Sheriff: Will Book 4, p. 35, Public Records of Darlington County, SC The History of the Old Cheraws by Alexander Gregg also has a few pages on it.
