Are the Springers of Union Co., SC connected to the Charles Springer
family of New Castle Co., DE?

Specifically, a friend of mine has an Aaron Springer b. ca. 1780
(unknown place).  He married Ruth Little, dau. of Jonas and Rebecca
Little (Jonas is a documented Rev. War soldier).  Ruth Little was first
married to a William Palmer, and by him had a son William.  By her
Springer husband, Ruth had son Joshua Springer (b. ca. 1805).

Ruth (Little) Palmer Springer died in Union Co., SC; her husband Aaron
Springer then married (2) Susannah Belew, widow of Daniel Comer
(Susannah d. Lawrence Co., TN).  Aaron Springer's third marriage was to
Hester Springer[sic].

A researcher named Lou Coffey published a book entitled "Springers in
the South"--which deals with Springer lines associated with Lawrence
Co., TN.  In this book, she suggests that John Springer is the father of
Aaron Springer (there is a deed mentioning these two men, but no
relationship is stated).

Thus the question:  Are these SC (to TN) Springers related to the New
Castle Co., DE family of this name?
