I am going to say that I am not quite sure if it is a mental hospital but I 
know that in the early 1900's it housed my ancestor. I think she was sent 
there by her husband. It seemed it was for mental reasons.

When I wanted information, I called the hospital. They went into their old 
files and a secretary typed up the information from the record and sent it to 
me. They were not real prompt and I had to ask a few times. That is not at 
the top of their list of prioritized things to do. (smile)
