Thanks, Steve, for the wonderful information on the Palmetto Regiment in the
Mexican War.  I recently received my great grandfather's discharge certificate
From the United States Volunteer Service and other documents which mention
which battles he was in.  This book from the Archives will be a very welcome
addition.

Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into this board.  I belong to
several and this is, by far, the best.
