For now, I will simply put in a "note of question" with the suggested 1765 date. I still hope someone out there will have an original or copy of a document with the correct date. They were supposedly married in Charleston, but that may mean anywhere in the general area. I have checked the St. James Santee book and no luck there. Her father, Dr. John, was dead before her wedding, whichever date is correct, but her mother, Sarah Hill, may have still lived at Hillsboro plantation. Thank you for taking the time to send the note.
