For over a dozen years we have used Brothers Keeper--probably
starting with BK 1.1 and now using BK5.2f. We have more than
20,000 names complete with thousands of references.

It is possible to download BK from internet to see if you like it
before you buy. For all of the features to work you must register
for $49 and then you receive a printed manual. The creator of
Brothers Keeper is available via e-mail if you have a serious
problem and need a question answered. Mr. Steed does answer
queries.

There is NEVER a problem getting marriages or birthorder of kids
to print out correctly, even if you did not initially enter them
in the correct order. They will print out in the order in which
you place them. You can change the order at any time.

Whether printing family group sheets, a variety of descendent
reports, a variety of ancestor reports, there is always an option
to print an index in either 2 or 3 columns.

There is never a problem moving data from an older to a newer
version.

The only connection we have with Brothers Keeper or with Mr.
Steed, is being a long-time satisfied user.
