I have an Archibald McClellan that married Ester (Esther) Deschamps.  Their 
daughter Mary Ann married Benjamin DuPre on 12/27/1790.  I believe that the 
McClellen family lived outside Charleston in an area known as St. James 
Santee, SC.  Let me know if this fits with you Archibald, if so, I'll provide
