This may not help at all, but there is a ships list that is very
interesting. People aas for information regarding certain ships going and
coming to America and then a researcher or someone who knows replys. I
found it so interesting that I was reading everything constantly, and had
to get off the list to concentrate of my research. They may be able to
tell you what ships were coming from Ireland about 1772. Since you know
the name of the ship, I think you are in luck.

came over from Ireland about 1772. We know that they came aboard the
brigantine "FREEMASON". We also know that John TRUESDEL petitioned the
immigrant council for his bounty land on 6 Jan 1773. How do I find the
actual date of arrival of this ship, and its passenger list? This family
ended up in the area of what would become Kershaw County, with many of them
still in the area today. So, would also like to hear from descendants of
John & Mollie.
