I'm sorry I don't have the specific references handy, but the South
Carolina Historical and Genealogical Magazine published articles giving
the names of persons on the first ship to Charles Towne (with other
information on that voyage) and also an article on the early landowners in
the Charleston area. The articles were in early issues.
