I have recently learned that my Shinholster family was in SC ca. 1750's.  The
Mother of William Shinholster wrote her will 1788 and at that time her name
was Sophia Hiles.

I have a reference to William Shinholster 1782 being of BEACH ISLAND.

There was a Father and son named William Shinholster.

Does anyone know where BEACH ISLAND was or have any information on this
family?
