Aug 15, 1823 in South Carolina and died Jun 25 1878 in Suwannee County FL. He married Amanda Roberts b. 1836 and d. 1892. They are buried in Antioch Cemetery, Live Oak, Suwannee County FL. Sherrod appears in Suwannee county in the mid 1850's along with A Jackson Byrd and his family. AJ was from Darlington and Sumter Distiricts S. C. and was a son of Redden and Hannah Scott Byrd.
