I have an elusive matriarch, Mendora/Mantora (Mittie) V. 
SHADDIX/SHADRICKS/SHADDRIX, b ca 1840s somewhere in SC/GA probably who 
married as a 2nd or 3rd wife James Thompson DODD in the Fayette, GA area. 
 I can't find anything on her family.  Recent information indicates 
strong Cherokee heritage.  

Does anyone know anything about this woman or her family?  I have lots of 
DODD information to exchange.
