Dear List,

This is just an observation. I am an elementary school teacher full time and a part time genealogists for my own families. Now I have recently had parents come to me regarding an issue at school where their child has been involved. They begin with "I prayed and I prayed to find an answer". My first thought is: "If you really had
prayed, then God would have told you not to be so mean to the teacher." I feel likewise when we start to nitpick about others. Pat Hite--Indy

I dropped a mailing list recently when the "serious genealogists" could not tolerate any comments other than tombstone data. They insulted the general researching public until most shut-up or got out. Beware, this list is going in the same direction.

I have not only had to research data, but migratory patterns, Native American allied families, wars and rumors thereof and even wandered into the reasons for the Palatinic German immigration to understand more. I have never read so much history willingly.
