Some messages include the person's personal email address.
You can then click their name to reply to them personally.
But usually, when you hit REPLY it goes to the list, unless
you have established personal contact.

Some people don't include their personal address; and,
therefore sometimes you have to reply to the list to get a
personal message to someone. You may have to ask for their
address.

Also, try right clicking the message; then go to PROPERTIES.
The name of the person sending the message to the list and
their personal email address should appear. I just highlight
and copy the address and drop it into the "TO:" space of a
NEW MAIL message.
