Caleb couldn't read or write, so he had to depend on others to spell his name correctly. I was told by older family members that knew Pamly, that she called her husband "Culip or Culop"... Could this be a SC accent or could this be a shorter version of another name other than Caleb. I haven't been able to find any information on Calebs birth or family...Does the list have any thoughts on this mystery?
