Hi Kam,
It might be aol.  I am having the same problem with some sites as are aol and 
compuserve folks on some other lists.  Let aol know.  I have spent several 
hours on the phone with them and one of their techs muttered something about 
some kind of firewall that is blocking things.  I explained that they needed 
to make sure genealogy folks can get to sites or they will lose business.  If 
enough of us comment on it they might do something.
