To be precise, Martha Jane Glenn who married Zadock Darby Smith in SC. Her daughter was Sarah Nancy Smith. Martha Jane's mother was Elizabeth Boyd and she was married to William Glenn, the first in our family according to an aunt who used the two n's in Glenn. William's father was James Glenn and his father was John Glen. John came from Ireland w/ his wife and James was born in VA. James and John were both in the Rev War and James moved to SC, had his children there and is buried at Bethel Cemetery in York County.
