Subject: SC to Blount Co. , GA From: Don Rhodes Date: April 02, 2000 My Jonathan also traveled to Blount County GA around the same time as your Jacob Sims Smith but I believe the McDow brothers, Jonathan and Samuel, went first into Hall and Houston Counties in GA. They drew land grants in the early 1820s. I found both of them in Blount County, GA in 1850. Could your ancestor traveled the same route?
